My Lady

Karen womanOn a trip to Chiang Mai earlier this year, I visited a (touristy/fake) Karen Hill tribe village. The Karen are a displaced people from Myanmar/Burma living in Thailand along it’s northern borders. Many of the ladies earn money by selling what they weave to tourists. After I bought a few scarves, I asked this kind lady if I could take her photograph.
